Controls

Keypad
The keypad allows the user to Arm and Disarm the Alarm System. Most Keypad also have panic buttons for Intrusion, Fire and Medical Emergencies.

Keyfob Controls
A key fob allows you to arm and disarm your home alarm system in the same fashion you would arm and disarm a car alarm, with the push of a button on the keyfob.

Control Panel
The panel is the brains of the alarm system which monitors all alarm system components. The panel can be connected to our Central Monitoring Service.

Intrusion Detection

Motion Detectors
A key component of intrusion detection systems, motion detectors detect an intruder's movements in a protected area. There are a number of types of motion detectors, including some that are pet friendly.

Door Contact
Door contacts are magnetic switches that are installed hidden into the door frame that detect when the door is opened.

Window Contact
Window contacts are magnetic switches that detect when a window is open. Window contacts can be hidden or surface mounted. Surface mounted contacts allow for arming the system with the window open a small amount to allow for ventilation.

Glass Break
A glass break detector triggers at the sound of breaking glass. Normally used to protect areas with large glass openings.

Barrier Bars
Barrier Bars are used to protect basement windows. The bar is placed in the window opening and is triggered if the bar is moved out of place.

Siren
The siren is the audible indication of an intrusion. Sirens often combine noise and voice warnings for the intruders.

Fire Safety

By incorporating fire safety equipment into a monitored alarm system, you can ensure a quick response to any fire safety emergency. Combines both the local audible alarms with notifications of the alarm to the Central Monitoring Service which can dispatch the fire department.
